I am a die hard Beyonce fan and there is nothing that she can do (within reason) that will make me want to up and leave the Beyhive. So its only fitting that I finally got to see her live in concert. The best part was that it was my best friend’s birthday so we got to ring in her twenties the right way.
Maybe I’m slightly biased because she is one of my favorite artist of all time but she brought it all the way back to “Dangerously In Love” and I am telling you guys that she blew me away. From the dancing to how the show flowed so easily it was honestly worth money and I would go see her again and again because it was just that amazing. My favorite part of the show, well actually I have two, the first being when she performed “Me, Myself, and I” now that blew me away because that girl can sing! It was amazing I’m still speechless at how phenomenal her vocals are. My runner up for the amazing show would have to be when she performed “Freedom” the choreography and her singing were the icing on the cake and if you thought Beyonce couldn’t out do herself they did all of this in water! Did I have a voice the next day from screaming the lyrics to “Sorry” the next day? The answer is no I did not and I don’t regret it one bit. The city was packed with thousands of people trying to get in formation and I think New Orleans ,including myself, did a good job of it.

Let’s Talk About The Outfit
So my outfit was so last minute but it was one of those things where I had an image in my head and I was going to go with it. The shirt was a halter top/ tank top and the material was stretchy and very comfortable. That was my mind set the entire while picking the outfit cute and comfortable and they rarely go hand in hand. The olive colored part came from me just wanting some brightness in my outfit and it was simple but it pulled the look I was going for together. The shirt was roughly eight dollars from Ross and if you are in college Ross is your best friend and if it’s not your best friend yet well it’s time to get acquainted. the ripped boyfriend jeans are my favorite! Simone Battle had a pair similar and I had to have them they are such a trendy and staple piece to have in your wardrobe and so comfortable. They came from Cato’s but I couldn’t telly you a price exactly but I’m sure you can find a pair similar anywhere. Lastly the chunky block heeled sandals were so cute and I’m in love I would wear them every day if I could and I’m not joking. They are so flattering and they can be dressed up or down super comfy and super fab. They came from New York & Company and I don’t believe they’re still available but its another one of those pieces where you can find something similar anywhere. For the jewelry I wanted chunky, medallion, almost boho-like the best part was the jewelry I had picked out wasn’t to heavy and it was comfortable.
I was asked often was I comfortable wearing heels to a concert and I was my heels weren’t high and they were an easy wear so I don’t really regret wearing them.
Hair & Make Up
I kept my make up very simple no wings just a neutral eye look and I wore a gloss. I was super rushed for time so that was the best I could do 😦
My hair was an old blow out that I pinned to the side I missed the beauty mark that day but I’m sure Bey didn’t mind!
